A new professional performing arts center for the Universtiy of Nebraska, including a major touring theatre/opera facility and a multi-purpose (black-box) rehearsal and classroom. The new facility was designed to connect to and expand the existing music department and the existing recital hall. While the main theatre had a primary role as a "road show" facility, the music department desired to creat an opera production program that would be housed in the main theatre.
