Pleased with the public reception and the outcome of the Lied Foundation gift to the University of Nebraska, the foundation approached HDR Architects about funding another performing arts center. The result of that request is a new perfessional performance center for the University of Kansas, which includes a major touring theatre and a master plan for a second phase performing arts complex. The Organ Recital Hall portion has since been added to the complex.
