Adding one more "Christopher" into the Jones & Phillips family where a senior consultant, another senior consultant's son and an associate's significant other were all named Chris seemed impossible on the surface. Then the reality of what kind of team member Christopher Dick could become was made clear when he said, "Just call me 'Topher' like my mother did!" And, just as he did with the name issue Topher has shown to everyone he is a problem solver.
Topher had experience in theatre and had even taken courses from senior partner Van Phillips at Purdue. But his career path had taken him into the world of computer graphics and CAD based design. When the position of CAD production and CAD organization manager opened, Topher was a logical choice.
With architects and engineers providing CAD materials from different CAD application programs the drawing interface, organization and co-ordination becomes a critical challenge. All of the people at Jones & Phillips Associates are conversant in working with CAD applications though not necessarily different CAD software systems. Topher has deftly assumed the key position in that coordination and file management. And as a bonus, he even understands how the theatrical systems apply and work once installed.
