Lied Performing Arts Center

University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska

A new professional performing arts center for the University of Nebraska, including a major touring theatre/opera facility and a multi-purpose (black box) rehearsal room and classroom. The new facility was designed to connect to and expand the existing music department and the existing recital hall. While the main theatre had a primary task as a "road show" facility, the music department desired to create an opera production program that would be housed in the main theatre.
