Mr. Allison has remained current with production techniques, practices, and materials by periodically practicing his craft on Broadway and in the Opera.  Years of touring with Broadway productions, and numerous production design and production management appointments all contribute to his expertise.

Mr. Allison did his undergraduate study at Virginia Commonwealth University in Design and Technical Theatre and his graduate study at Purdue University in Theatre Consulting and Sceneography.  He has also attended the Professional Arts Management Institute.  He is a member or the American Society of Theatre Consultants (ASTC), the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IASTE), and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT).

Jones & Phillips Associates, Inc. has provided planning and consulting services for performing arts facilities and public assembly facilities for over 30 years. Their work has led to more than 400 realized new and renovated performing arts facility projects across the United States and includes facilities in Canada, China, and the Middle East as well as more than 100 facilities of other types.

"While many of these facilities have received acclaim, we are, as a firm, more excited by the fact that each facility is a unique reflection of the owners and end users who call these arts spaces home," Mr. Phillips notes. "In the final analysis, we feel the quality of a performance facility is not reflected in the photographs that reach architectural magazines. Rather, truly outstanding facilities support end users and applaud the art and artists in production."
